To be clear, the main attraction for Pera Eats events is meat, but there’s no way non meat eaters go away hungry. To call the meze dishes side dishes, doesn’t do them justice.
An entire meal can be composed of thick yoghurt with cucumber, fresh mint and dill drizzled in garlic and olive oil, with a spicy tomato salad made with hot pepper paste, onion, garlic and parsley with pomegranate molasses to accompany, and delicious dishes of smokey, pureed eggplant lightly salted. Not to mention, grilled peppers and tomatoes with a Shepard salad that includes greens, mint, parsley, cucumber, tomatoes mixed with a light lemon, olive oil.
For additional options. we’ll thrown in baked chickpeas, homestyle or a vegetarian casserole – picture sautéed peppers, mushrooms, pearl onions with roasted garlic in a delicate sauce.
